Discover a compassionate space where healing begins and growth flourishes

Meet Anne Moss

Anne Moss, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Welcome! I'm Anne Moss, a licensed professional counselor with over 18 years of specialized experience working with chemically dependent adults, their families, and individuals with dual diagnoses. My journey into mental health counseling began from a deep passion for helping others discover their inner strength and resilience during difficult times.

I specialize in working with adults and adolescents suffering from anxiety and depression, as well as symptoms related to trauma and PTSD. My extensive background in addiction counseling also allows me to provide comprehensive support for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. I believe that every person has an innate capacity for growth and healing, and my role is to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely.

Outside of my practice, I find balance through spending time with my family, riding horses, and embracing the peace that comes from living in the mountains. These activities help me maintain the emotional presence and energy I bring to each therapeutic relationship. I believe deeply in the power of self-care and strive to model the balance I help my clients achieve.

Core Values

  • Respect for individual dignity and worth
  • Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity
  • Evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth

Evidence-Based Methods

I integrate various therapeutic modalities to best serve each client's unique needs and preferences:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Helping clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress.

Addiction & Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Comprehensive approach for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Mindfulness-Based Interventions

Incorporating mindfulness practices to increase self-awareness and emotional regulation skills.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

An evidence-based therapy particularly effective for processing trauma and reducing emotional distress.

Why I Became a Therapist

Every person has an incredible capacity for healing and growth. My privilege as a therapist is to walk alongside you on your journey, providing support, insight, and evidence-based tools to help you navigate life's challenges. Together, we can work to uncover your strengths, develop new perspectives, and create lasting positive change in your life.
